Didn't know what we were missing.

Now that the houses are gone behind our house our basement is privy to the sunsets. Beautiful.

There goes the neighborhood.

That last house to be knocked down. They started around 9 a.m. and we were so excited that we were home to watch the events. The demolisher had been teasing us for a week. We all settled into a window with our breakfast and coffee.
So, our attention span isn't what it used to be. Pretty sure we all gave up after 10 minutes. The crane was too slow for our taste.

If you can make this picture bigger - you can see how the previous residents decorated their walls. I think it's hands and feet?

Done! We haven't had neighbors in 10 months and it looks like we won't have any for at least a year. No barking dogs, no kids screaming, love it, love it, love it.
The birdfeeder on the deck is for the spoiled kitties. Alicia thinks we should get Marshall a bird-watching book and let him scratch off all of the birds that he sees.

Brave Girl

Alicia started with a little bump on her lip and ended up with this... Ouch!
