We rearranged Alex's room yesterday and the kitties decided that they were going to sleep with him. Marshall usually sleeps with Alicia and Lily sleeps with us. I immediately sang the song,"Cheater, Cheater, Pumpkin Eater" when I saw Miss Lily dozing in Alex's bed.
We obviously had to alert Alicia to this grievous injustice! Alicia shared a few words with her beloved kitty.

If scolding doesn't work - maybe bribery will convince Marshall that he's sleeping in the wrong bed.

29 and holding!
Alex spends all of his free time outside. I wonder why?

It's May, I'm over it.

Alicia and the ferocious Lily.
The kitties alerted us to this magnificent bird that was about the size of Lily. It is an elusive gaming bird named the Chukar Partridge.

The other morning I felt the walls shaking. I peeked out the window to spot my kiddo and the middle school band marching through our neighborhood at 7:30 a.m. Alex picked up this extra duty assignment which has him practicing twice a week at the middle school. He'll be headed to Bismarck for a showcase of middle school bands in May. (It's good practice for the boy to get up early since he's been enjoying his 9 a.m. school start times for a few years.)
